A team of Oscar-winning filmmakers face a biopic recreates Van Gogh oil paintings to decipher his life.

56,800 oil paintings. All with the same stroke, the Van Gogh. This is the challenge that the creative team takes BreakThru Films, británicopolaca producer who has to his credit an Oscar for best short film by Peter & The Wolf (2006), stop-motion version of the classic children’s story Peter and the Wolf. Loving Vincent is the title of this challenge in which 40 artists will have to become, Oil Oil, frame by frame, in double Van Gogh. “For the first time in history that will be a feature in each image is an oil painting,” said Hugh Welchman, producer and co-writer of the film and head of BreakThru Films. “Until now it was impossible to try something by the time it took. But we managed to develop a technique that makes it possible.”

THIS COUNTRY HAVE NO SOLUTION. (A REMEMBRANCE FOR THE VICTIMS OF 11-MARCH- MADRID)

Good evening to everyone.

Days go by, months go by and the years go by.

The crisis that didn´t exist, exist. The fast solution that our leaders proposed to us, it hasn´t been so fast even fairly quickly and efficiently.

The country is plunged into crisis and appears to improve some things , but it’s a mirage that our minds and forked tongues of politicians make us see and believe .

Why they treat us as mere sheeps? As  simple numbers (or votes ) ?
We are the ones that elect them. They are distributing the cake, but …

FUCK!!! THEY FORGET ABOUT US IMMEDIATELY, SO FAST!!!

We give them all the power they need, all , not part , we give them ALL THE POWER. And to me, it doesn´t seem logical. There had to be political decisions approved by politicians, but in others, there should be a consensus of all the people of this country, have or haven´t voted for the ruling party .

So this country is divided , angry, scared shitless and shit.

Life goes on is the truth, but we are becoming the life into an obstacle course , in which we put ourselves fences .

I´M LIKE THE WEATHER, COLD AND OFF, BAH!!! A WIDE SMILE. :D

Hello @ll,

I took a few days as the weather, cold, dull, almost withered I´d say. I think that’s what happens to Superman, I take energy from the sun and sunless I´m nothing.

Today I´ll leave you a little piece that I painted a few months ago, it lacks some tweaks but I like it, it’s done on wood and cut it myself (have to save). 🙂

I LEAVE YOUR LIGHTS BEHIND.- P. MELITÓN (POETRY IN A PLANE).

Hello my friends.

Today we´ll leave the paint apart and we‘re going to enjoy a little poetry.

I wrote it flying back from New York on my last visit in 2010. Hope you like it.

Greetings to everyone and live art with Artespiritus.

 

I leave behind your golden lights,
aligned golden pearls,
that fills the sky of amber,
small fireflies stops in the air.

I leave behind your walls of glass,
reflections of the past,
walking your streets,
your light and metal towers.

I leave behind my dreams,
shipped in your waters,
reflecting an everlasting lovers,
in your admired nights.

I leave behind my illusions,
hung of your bridges,
stranded in your ports,
forgotten illusions.

I leave behind the love,
love for a city,
unspeakable love,
the love that is true.

I leave behind the sorrow,
of your Twins I remember,
breath the mist,
touch the sky.

I leave behind 3,000 souls,
I´ll always carry within me,
not cover ground zero,
neither will ever forget.

I leave behind a lament,
because that city
is all I feel,
I don´t sin of vanity.

I leave behind New York,
I´ll be back again,
even if not in this life,
I’ll take the sky subway.

Was an Italian Renaissance polymath: painter, sculptor, architect, musician, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer. His genius, perhaps more than that of any other figure, epitomized the Renaissance humanist ideal. Leonardo has often been described as the archetype of the Renaissance Man, a man of “unquenchable curiosity” and “feverishly inventive imagination”.

He is widely considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time and perhaps the most diversely talented person ever to have lived.

RAPHAEL, RAFFAELLO SANZIO DA URBINO (

Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino (April 6 or March 28, 1483 – April 6, 1520), better known simply as Raphael, was an italian painter and architect of the High Renaissance. His work is admired for its clarity of form and ease of composition and for its visual achievement of the Neoplatonic ideal of human grandeur. Together with Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, he forms the traditional trinity of great masters of that period.

As you can see, Raphael is one of the greatest painters in history, amazing works, amazing life, but he died too young.

Today is a nice day for those we love, enjoyed and live ART.

Today is the day that is no excuse to approach any museum and see the treasures that store, they are the only places in the world where the treasures are for everyone. They aren´t locked in safes and that’s what makes it even more valuable.

¡¡¡¡¡GOOD IDEA!!!! AND IMPROVING I- SEVE BALLESTEROS

Good night my friends, how are you today? Hope ok, nice.

Here I leave the first delivery of progress in my painting in memory of “Severiano Ballesteros“.

I have an idea lurking my head for a while with this paint. A few months ago I started thinking about what to do with it. A friend suggested me try to sell it at some country club, golf course, etc.

That would be fine if any of them could buy it (the economy is challenging these days) and I don´t know anyone in those places.

I decided without much thought, I’m going to donate to Seve Ballesteros Foundation, make an auction and the proceeds will go to the fight against brain tumors.

What do you think? I´d like you´ll leave any comment about that and if anyone has any known person in these places, I would appreciate you give the contact to me.

Well I´ll see more options, because there is still some time to finish it.

ONE OF THE GREAT PROPHETS OF CIVILIZATION- REMBRANDT

Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn– (1606-1669).

He´s the true genius of the baroque and without any doubt the most important artist of Holland history.

He achieved success young, but his last years were tragic and economic ruin.

He was a master of portraiture and illustration of biblical scenes.
